Tesla's electric car broke the speed record at the famous Nürburgring race area in Germany. Elon Musk announced that Tesla Model S Plaid completed the 21-kilometer-long Nürburgring track in approximately 7 minutes and 30 seconds.
Tesla, the world's most popular electric car manufacturer, continues to make a name for itself with the vehicles it has developed. The company introduced the Model S Plaid model, which stands out with its speed data, last June.
SPEED RECORD
Tesla's car, Tesla Model S plaid, worth 133 thousand dollars (approximately 1 million 124 thousand TL), broke the speed record at Germany's famous automobile track Nürburgring.
Tesla Model S Plaid completed the track in 7 minutes 30.9 seconds, beating the previous record by 11 seconds.
According to Elon Musk, a new modified version of the Model S Plaid will also be released.
Tesla's 1000-horsepower Plaid model stands out as the most powerful version of the S series. In addition, the car draws attention as one of the fastest mass production vehicles.
HE HAS HANDED PORSCHE'S RECORD
The track record in the electric car class was held by Porsche Taycan Turbo with a time of 7 minutes and 42 seconds. This record was broken in August 2019.
