Accordingly, as Opel takes the next step in its electrification strategy, it will present nine electrified models primarily in European markets in 2021.
In addition, it is aimed that all Opel models will have electric versions by 2024. By 2028, only the brand's electric cars will be available in Europe, which is the main market for Opel.
At the event, Opel's work and goals on electric vehicles were also shared. According to the statements made, Opel, which sees the future of the automotive industry in electric vehicles, plans to take its place in China, the world's largest automotive market, as an all-electric brand and grow profitably.
On the other hand, it was noted that Manta, one of the models that has an important place in the history of the German brand, will be on the road again as an electric car.
It is stated that Manta will be put into mass production as "all electric" in the next 10 years.
