The new Aston Martin Valhalla supercar is unveiled with all the features of the first mass-produced mid-engine road car in the brand's 108-year history.
Aston Martin introduced the Valhalla supercar, which combines a 740 HP, AMG-made 4.0-liter V8 with a 201 HP dual electric motor system to produce top performance while reducing emissions.
The two-door supercar can reach 100 KM/H in 2.5 seconds. The maximum speed of the vehicle was announced as 350 KM/H.
The vehicle's electrical technology will also help save weight. The Valhalla features an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission that uses a hybrid system for reverse, eliminating the need for a conventional reverse gear.
Using electrically assisted torque vectoring for its all-wheel drive system, the vehicle promises not only speed but also agility.
It also stands out for its relatively lightweight carbon fiber body and adjustable ride height to keep the car usable on less-than-perfect streets.
Aston Martin is expected to launch its new hybrid supercar, the Valhalla, in the UK towards the end of 2023, with a price tag of between 600,000 and 700,000 euros. It is among the other plans of the company that the vehicle will be produced for only 2.5 years.
It is stated that Aston Martin's new sports car is intimidating against McLaren cars such as Artura and Speedtail. More importantly, the company sees its new vehicle as a way to "steer the transition" from internal combustion engines to EVs.
When will the Aston Martin Valhalla be released?
The Valhalla will now be prepared for a market launch in the second half of 2023, with Aston Martin F1 drivers Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll called upon to offer feedback on the car's dynamic performance.
