The new BMW M5 CS, the highly anticipated car of 2021, has finally been introduced. The lighter and more performance model of the BMW M5, which appeared with its renewed face in June 2020, was introduced with the M5 CS.
German automaker BMW announced the first CS version of the M5 model. The brand again emphasizes the lightness and performance of the CS versions in this special version.
According to the M5 Competition, the new BMW M5 CS has reduced by 104 kilograms. BMW engineers brought the 4.4-liter biturbo V8 engine to 636 horsepower, making it the most powerful car with the "M" badge.
The acceleration of the new BMW M5 CS is quite impressive. The model completes 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 3 seconds, and accelerates from 0-200 km/h in 10.4 seconds. Although the vehicle's maximum speed of 305 km/h is the same as the BMW M5, it remains superior to its brother in terms of performance and agility.
BMW designers made the model stand out thanks to a special body color and details with the color Gold Bronze. Gold Bronze colored front grille and custom production 20 ″ wheels contribute to the eye-catching appearance. Carbon fiber reinforced plastic engine cover (CCRP), on the other hand, has reduced the weight of the M5 CS by 70 kilograms.
When we move into the interior of the new BMW M5 CS, carbon fiber seats with the M logo and new black and red inlaid upholstery welcome us. The model, which has two more racing seats at the back, also draws attention with the Nürburgring logos on the seat heads.
One of the striking details in the interior is that the CS logo appears at every point you can think of. This makes it clear that it is not a standard M5. BMW engineers state that they achieved significant weight savings by eliminating the collapsible armrest. The 12.3-inch infotainment system also maintains its place in the special model.
This special car, which will be in limited edition, will be on sale for only one year. The first BMW M5 CS samples produced are expected to be delivered in the spring. The sales price of the vehicle in Germany is determined as 199,900 €.
