Hennessey is now back with the Venom F5, after the Venom GT model designed to celebrate the company's 30th anniversary. Hennessey Venom F5, whose name is one of the F5 hoses with wind speeds up to 512 km/h, has entered the hypercar class quite ambitiously.
At the heart of the Hennessey Venom F5 is a specially developed 6.6-liter V8 engine known as the Fury. Featuring a hand-made cast iron block, aluminum cylinder heads and a dry sump lubrication system, this engine has the title of "the most powerful mass production road car engine ever built" and also has two turbochargers.
The Hennessey Venom F5 has a power of 1,817 hp and a torque of 1617 Nm. The rear-wheel drive model is combined with a seven-speed semi-automatic transmission. The Hennessey Venom F5's 0-100 km/h acceleration takes just less than three seconds. The Hennessey Venom F5 has a carbon fiber monocoque chassis that weighs only 86 kg and the total weight of the car is only 1,360 kg.
POWER UNLOCKING WITH F5 DRIVING MODE
The model has modes called Sport, Track, Drag, Wet and F5. In terms of design, the Venom F5 draws attention with carbon fiber body panels, butterfly doors and 19/20-inch wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.
The interior of the Hennessey Venom F5 has plenty of leather and carbon fiber. The carbon fiber steering wheel and 7-inch digital instrument cluster are in the middle, while the 9-inch Alpine infotainment system and features such as GPS navigation, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay await the driver.
