German auto giant Audi has decided to recall the RS5 Coupes due to an operation error that occurred during assembly.

In a report published by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, it was stated that the error in question could cause the vehicle doors not to be opened from the outside after a collision from the rear, the hazard warning lights did not work due to the electrical power source they contain, and this situation may cause the risk of injury to the occupants.

It will include 2,355 RS5 Coupes produced between November 3, 2017 and December 10, 2019.

The firm will notify vehicle owners of the recall and technicians will inspect and replace the positive terminal cover free of charge. The recall will begin on February 7, 2021.
