University students in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, uncovered a new vehicle. The vehicle, made of plastic from the sea, plastic skewers and household waste, was named by students Luca.
There are sports car seats in the yellow two-seater vehicle. The vehicle, which can reach a speed of 90 kilometers per hour, can reach a range of 220 kilometers if fully charged.
"This car is really special because it's made entirely out of garbage," Lisa van Etten, project manager at the Technical University of Eindhoven, told Reuters.
The seats are made of coconut and horsehair
Stating that the chassis of the vehicle is made of linen and recycled pet bottles, Lisa van Etten said that they also benefit from domestic waste in the interior. While it is stated that the hard plastic used in televisions, toys or kitchen appliances is used in the body of the vehicle, the seat cushions are made of coconut and horse hair.
