Italian sports car maker Ferrari has revamped and further strengthened the already very good and successful open-top sports car Portofino.
Ferrari has recently been testing many of its models in camouflage in the streets of Maranello. Ferrari, which had the Ferrari Portofino unveiled in 2017, updated the model and introduced the Portofino M, a slightly higher performance model for those who find the Portofino underpowered. The meaning of the letter M comes from the abbreviation of the word Modificata.
Ferrari's open-top sports car Portofino, which is already quite impressive and successful in design, has now gained a much more aggressive stance thanks to the new front bumper. In the rear bumper, a few changes made the upper part of the exhaust outlets a little more embedded in the bumper. The length of the Ferrari Portofino is 4,594 mm, its width is 1,938 mm and its height is 1,318 mm, while the wheelbase is 2,670 mm.
The real difference in this part of the Portofino M, which offers almost no changes in its interior, is the 5th option added to Manettino. Thanks to the "Race" mode, the vehicle can now be used even more sporty.
The 3.9-liter engine that produces 600 horsepower used in Rome is used in the Ferrari Portofino. The twin-turbo V8 engine produces 620 horsepower and 760 Nm of torque. The open-top sports car with a weight of 1.545 kg can reach 0-100 km/h in just 3.45 seconds with its 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. In addition, the model, which can accelerate to 200 km/h for 9.8 seconds, has a maximum speed of over 320 km/h.
