BMW takes the BMW i4, the latest electric model, which maintains the brand's characteristic features, into series production step by step.
The four-door GranCoupe design will be on the road in 2021 and the BMW i4's range is 600 km.
The brand's second full-electric car to be produced after the i3, the i4’s tests continue in harsh winter conditions.
Fully developed from scratch, the electric motor, power electronics, charging unit and high-voltage batteries, including the 5th Generation BMW eDrive technology BMW i4, as well as the BMW iX3 and BMW iNEXT'te also. The electric motor developed for the BMW i4 has a maximum power of approximately 530 hp.
The new high-voltage battery, weighing 550 kilograms and with an energy potential of about 80 kWh, will give the BMW i4 a range of about 600 kilometers.
Offering a charging capacity of up to 150 kW, these batteries can be charged to 80 percent in about 35 minutes. This will allow it to reach a range of approximately 100 kilometers with a 6-minute charge.

Prepared to become the first Gran Coupe of the BMW i brand, the BMW i4 also stands out with its impressive performance features. The BMW i4 will accelerate from 0-100 km / h in approximately 4.0 seconds, while achieving a top speed of over 200 km/h.
