SEAT introduced URBAN MOBILITY, the strategic business unit that will play an important role in the future strategy of the Congress and will carry out its work on this issue. The congress also marked a first in the 70-year history of the brand; The e-Kickscooter concept model and the fully electrically powered e-Scooter concept were introduced.
e-Scooter and e-Kickscooter entrusted to URBAN MOBILTY
URBAN MOBILITY, which was established to combine all the solutions of the brand in product, service and mobility, will launch the e-Scooter in 2020. The new business unit will also be included in the new SEAT EXS e-Kickscooter, first introduced in 2018.
SEAT URBAN MOBILITY will also cooperate with public institutions in the adaptation of the SEAT Minimo concept model introduced to the latest MOBILE WORLD CONGRESS to urban mobility.
e-Scooter concept goes 115km on one charge
The fully electric e-Scooter concept introduced by SEAT at the Congress is planned to be launched at the end of 2020. The e-Scooter concept, aimed at both private users and fleet customers, has a torque of 240 Nm. Equivalent to 125cc, 7 kW engine equipped e-Scooter, only 3.8 seconds to reach a speed of 50 km / h and 115 kilometers in a single charge can travel.
New generation EXS; e-Kickscooter concept
Another innovation introduced by SEAT at the Smart City Expo World Congress was the new generation e-Kickscooter. First introduced in 2018, SEAT EXS’s new generation e-Kickscooter concept, which has reached more than 10,000 sales units to date, is equipped with a much higher capacity battery and has a range of 65 km.
