The engine, which shares the same diameter and stroke as the RC213V-S, produces a maximum power of 160 kW at 14,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 113Nm at 12,500 rpm, while the 2020 CBR1000RR-R Fireblade weighs only 201 kg, making an extremely ambitious power-weight balance reveals.
The CBR1000RR-R will also be available in an SP version. This version is supported by the second-generation semi-active Öhlins Electronic Control, including the 43 mm NPX fork and the Öhlins TTX36 Smart-EC rear shock absorbers, the new Brembo Stylema four-piston radial-mounted front calipers and the Brembo caliper used in the RC213V-S.
