BMW Motorrad introduced its newest models to its fans at EICMA 2019, the biggest motorcycle fair in Europe.
F 900 R and F 900 XR, which is prepared to be one of the newest representatives of BMW in the middle segment, made its world presentation in EICMA 2019. The new BMW S 1000 XR, which underwent a thorough refurbishment operation, also made its debut at the fair.
In addition to the latest mass production models, BMW Motorrad exhibited its concept motorcycles, which provided insight into the future models of the brand. Brand new BMW F 900 R and F 900 XR Series
BMW Motorrad's biggest surprise in the EICMA 2019 was the dynamic roadster F 900 R and the F 900 XR in the Adventure Sport segment. Focusing on the mid-segment, which is increasing in popularity with each passing day, BMW Motorrad manages to offer high-end driving pleasure and advanced technology in both models developed specifically for this segment. These two models, which basically share the same infrastructure, are able to offer quite different driving characters. F 900 R, which is more aggressive and appealing to those looking for sporty use, stands out with its pleasant sound, high torque and a daily motorcycle.
Competition in the middle class will be heated
BMW F 900 XR, another of BMW's new mid-range representatives, offers sportiness and long-distance pleasure. Developed with the inspiration of the BMW S 1000 XR, the BMW F 900 XR combines sporty driving dynamics with GS-like ergonomics that are essential to the Adventure Sport segment, giving the driver and aftershock a unique pleasure on long journeys. Both models come with a 6.5-inch color TFT display as standard, making it easy to talk by phone, listen to music or track navigation information. The BMW S 1000 XR, the representative of BMW's most preferred Adventure Sport bike segment, also met motorcycle fans for the first time in EICMA 2019 after a comprehensive makeover operation. The new BMW S 1000 XR weighs only 226 kg, which is 10 kg lighter than its predecessor, thanks to the renovation of the engine and suspension systems.
