Citroen to announce economic models from India
The PSA, which restructures the group strategy, has introduced the entry-level Citroen brand. The French manufacturer, who took the first step after this development, announced that it would now take place in India. PSA chairman Carlos Tavares and Citroen CEO Linda Jackson also attended the meeting, the brand will take place in the market from next year. The first model to be sold in the Indian market will be the brand's large SUV C5 Aircross.
Citroen will also produce special economic models to India as a result of its agreement with the CK Birla group. More than 90% of the domestic tools will be developed to protect the brand DNA of Citroen.
In the reconstruction of PSA, Opel and Peugeot will develop models for the middle group. DS Automobiles will constitute the luxury leg of the group. In addition, steps are being taken to create common service points that will combine the sales and service network of four brands in Europe. After these moves, Opel has announced its profit for the first time in many years.
