Stating that the doors can be closed with a single key, the company underlined that the driver would not deal with closing the doors. The new system has been developed to help those carrying large items.
The system, which was first tested in the Range Rover Sport model, is the product of a 6-month study.
Another feature of the system is to check whether the door can be opened. If there is an obstacle in front of the door, the door will not open and the driver will be warned. After the vehicle has passed the barrier, it can open its doors again automatically.
