Toyota aims to lead in Silverstone

Until today, Toyota has managed to get out of the podium in all races, including two victories on the Silverstone track, wanting to take the first two places like Le Mans.



Toyota Gazoo Racing will perform in the UK with the TS050 HYBRID model in the third race of the 2018-2019 World Endurance Championship (WEC) season.

According to Toyota's statement, Toyota, which returned to endurance races in 2012, continues to demonstrate its technology and performance in the different categories of motorsports.

Toyota has won 16 pole positions and 45 podiums, while winning 50 of the 50 races since 2012 with 18 victories. Toyota Gazoo Racing's success was crowned with the acquisition of the legendary 24-hour Le Mans race this year. In Le Mans, Sebastien Buemi, Kazuki Nakajima and Fernando Alonso, the No. 8 TS050 HYBRID first driver, Mike Conway, Kamui Kobayashi and José María López, was the second driver of the vehicle.

Toyota Gazoo Racing wants to repeat the same success in Silverstone after Le Mans victory.
