Porsche Taycan was officially introduced

Porsche continues to celebrate his 70th birthday. Finally, the brand has announced the name of its electrically powered automobile, "Taycan", which it unveiled in the name of the Mission E concept.



Taycan means "live and young horse". The next generation of cars will be Porsche's first electric sports car!



Porsche CEO Oliver Blume gave specific information about the car's engine technical information. There will be two electric motors in Taycan, which will have 592 horsepower.



With this power, the car can reach 0 to 100 km / h in 3.5 seconds.



The vehicle's speed from 0 to 200 km / h will be less than 12 seconds. Of course, everyone's most curious about the range of the car. Taycan will have a "500 km" range.



One of the most curious things about electric cars is charging time. Porsche explained that you can take Tassan 100 km with a 4-minute charge.



Having entered the brand's product line a different way, Taycan has already begun to give information about how to develop it with an extra investment of $ 588 million.



Porsche shared the signal that it would produce electric motor models, which will be located in different segments, with this investment footnote. One of the simplest examples is the Mission E Cross Toursmo concept model.



Porsche will invest $ 1.1 billion in electric cars for Taycan and its variations.
