The chairman of the Italian car maker Maserati, announced that they have put a 5-year plan in place to take electric versions of all their vehicles, targeting Tesla.
Brand chief Timothy Kuniskis said that Maserati lifted diesel engines from the middle as he entered into a special deal with Ferrari for all future powertrains including hybrids, plug-in hybrids and electrics.
In this five-year plan, Maserati will introduce two new vehicles, including an electric super sports car named "Alfiero" that can rise from 0 to 100 km / h in two seconds. The other vehicle is expected to be SUV.
