The resulting car, powered by Mercedes-Benz models, will use a 3.0-liter six-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine integrated into the company's 48V electrical architecture. Shared with the CLS 53, this unit will produce 435 hp, 400 Nm of torque. The maximum speed of the Mercedes-AMG E53, which can be accelerated from 0-100 km / h in 4.5 seconds, will be up to 269 km / h with the AMG driver package on the option list.
Mercedes-Benz, which stipulated that the production of the AMG E43 will be stopped, has announced that it will release the engine it shares with the AMG C43. Apart from the AMG models, the company also developed the diesel V6 engine used in the E400d, adding that the power was increased by 7 bhp, torque by 220 Nm, and meet Euro6 emission standards like other E Series cars.
