Ferrari CEO Sergio Marchionne announced that by 2022 virtually all cars will have hybrid engines that combine gasoline and electricity consumption.
Producing some of the world's most famous super cars, the Ferrari is known for its high gasoline consumption and high speeds. Ferrari's gasoline cars are sold for hundreds of thousands of dollars and passengers are waiting for years to get new models.
Ferrari CEO Sergio Machionne announced that, by 2022, virtually all automobiles they produce will have hybrid engines that consume both electricity and gasoline.

Talking about the difficulty of hybridizing 12-cylinder engines, Machionne said Ferrari would continue to produce petrol cars at least in 2022.
