Mercedes-Benz is presenting a total of 10 novelty body displays, including a new version of two major models in Auto China 2018, which will host the wagon until May 4, 2018 and take place in Beijing.
The long-wheelbase version of the new Mercedes-Benz A-Class L Sedan and the renovated Mercedes-Benz C-Class Sedan is on display for the first time in China. The Vision Mercedes-Maybach Ultimate Luxury concept, which is another important innovation of the brand and interpreted by the Chinese market, offers a new approach to luxury living spaces with a collection of exclusive furniture complementing the design team, design language and materials used in the concept car. The new Mercedes-Benz A-Class L Sedan stands out with its extensive living space, MBUX information and entertainment system and S-Class level driving support systems. The long-wheelbase version of the A-Class Sedan's newest body type in the brand's compact class will be produced exclusively for the Chinese market.
The Mercedes-Benz C-Class product range is being completed by Beijing Benz Automotive (BBAC) in Beijing since 2014 with a long version specially produced for the Chinese market. The Mercedes-Benz C-Class Sedan, with its long wheelbase offering a wider knee range, goes on the road with many new features such as Smart Driving. Vision Mercedes-Maybach Ultimate Luxury combines the high-end luxury sedan with the characteristics of an SUV. The concept car Mercedes-Maybach blends the design language with the traditional values of the brand, making the Mercedes-Maybach brand the future. New member of compact class family: New Mercedes-Benz A-Class L Sedan
Before the new Mercedes-Benz A-Series meets West European customers in May, the newest body type of the A-Class family, the A-Class L Sedan Auto China 2018. Developed for the Chinese market, the A-Class L Sedan has as much as 6 cm of wheelbase from the hatchback sibling (2,789 mm instead of 2,729 mm). The new A-Class L Sedan will be produced in Beijing by Beijing Automotive (BBAC), the largest passenger car manufacturing facility of Mercedes-Benz, founded by Daimler and its Chinese partner BAIC Motor. The new A-Class L Sedan, scheduled to be introduced in China in the second half of 2018, is scheduled to be offered in the second half of the year with a short-wheelbase version that matches the expectations of customers in other markets.
Thanks to the brand-specific up-to-date design language, the high driving safety of the latest driving support systems transferred from the S-Class, and the MBUX - Mercedes-Benz User Experience information and entertainment system, the new A-Class L Sedan Has all the qualities of a compact class family of Mercedes-Benz. Like the brother of the Hatchback, the sedan stands out with its nose design that excites with its long engine bonnet, chrome details and a brand-specific front grille with a central 'star' as well as the headlamps with daytime running lights. The new Mercedes-Benz A-Class sedan, which will be available in two versions, the Sedan and the Sport Sedan, is powered by the power hoods in the engine bonnet called the "Powerdome" in the Sport Sedan version. The compact rear design that sits backwards emphasizes the sportiness of the vehicle. The 16-inch to 19-inch rims that fill the fenders with different sizes of rims provide a quadrangular stance on the road, with the shoulder line extending backwards.
Like the Hatchback sibling, the A-Class L Sedan also offers a completely new approach to interior design and gives the compact class new standards.
